Inner fender replacement
« on: October 04, 2010, 12:25:50 am »
Hi Guys,

I am quite new to the site & also only purchased a 1974 C10 two weeks ago. (I'm from South Africa).

I need to replace the driver side (RHD) Inner fender , is that a big job ? (Rusty)

I want to buy a few replacement parts can you tell me of a quality replacement Truck Parts?

Lastly I want to remove all the Paint on the loadbed as well as on the underbody , (Chassis & suspension's paint in bad conidtion) , what is the best way to do it?

Can you please give some advise.

For replacement parts, Chris is the way to go. Click the little link at the top of the page.

All normal practicality and rational money handling goes out of the window when it comes to my truck.

I don't ship international unless the purchaser can arrange US pickup or delivery to their address.

removing the inner fender required removal of the wheel and all the bolts to the cab (3) and to the fender and core support along with anything that is attached to the top.  It isn't simple, but it can be a pain if you don't want to pull the fender with it.
