hitch dimension question
« on: October 11, 2010, 10:58:44 am »
I came across a nice looking hitch and the guy told me it was off his 85 suburban. I want it for my 77 C20. The hitch is a EAZ Lift Class III and looks well made.

The outside to outside dimensions are 32 3/4". Our frames are 33 3/4".  Does this sound right? Is this hitch not correct for the truck? Is the suburban frame narower? Maybe the guy had the incorrect hitch for his suburban.

Anyone have the outside dimensions for a good quality hitch?

Thanks for any help.

Suburban and truck are completely different.  The frame on a Suburban angles down in back where the trucks are straight back.
