Keep in mind that the Goodwrench 350 does use a flat tappet camshaft.  So you will need to break in the cam upon initial startup.  Add a bottle of GM EOS or other cam breakin lube to the oil.  Immediately bring the rpm to 2000 and vary the rpm between 2000 and 2500 rpm for 20-30 min.  It helps to have a timing light hooked up so you can get it roughly timed during the break in.  Shut the engine down and change the oil.

I didn't know if you already knew that, but it's very important for the life of a flat tappet cam.  After the break in you may wish to prolong the life of the cam by using a ZDDP additive or simply using Shell Rotella diesel oil (most diesels still use flat tappet cams).
