vinyl paint
« on: January 25, 2011, 06:20:57 am »
I have several items to paint. Door panels, visors, seat belt covers, everything but the dash. All will be black. Is this a rattle can project, or would I be better off in the end to buy a quart and spray gun it?

I see some of the parts stores carry Rustoleum vinyl paint. Anyone tried it?

Thanks!

From what I understand is the sem vinyl paint is pretty good. I bought 3 cans of the black and 1 can of prep spray to do my interior panels in my trans am. I haven't used them yet but ill post results when I do if you haven't tried something yet.

I used SEM interior paint, and was absolutely impressed with the results. Did some parts over a year ago and they still look great. I was coloring red panels black. Everything dries super fast really.

SEM is your best bet for coloring vinyl parts.
