Van Control Arms
« on: April 08, 2011, 07:20:43 pm »
I had this question asked to me last night from a buddy lookin to narrow his track width on his bagged 78 which is a budget build.

"Will Van C-arms work on one of our trucks with out too much modification? I know they are shorter than the truck arms"

After an "I dunno but I'll ask some people" I told him to save up for a Porterbuilt or Scot's front cross, but he's already into chopping a stock crossmember and was hoping the van arms would work.

Any thoughts?

Bummer... Maybe adapt some Astro C arms... or since this guy is a pretty good fabricator, just make a crossmember. He has some square tubing around
