I gotta disgree with people in warm parts of the country me I'm Chicago guy southside no place I rather be best city hands down I take my winters it's spring now so it's bout to be even better the city of wind chi town windy city the city by the lake got y'all beat lol.. To the question you like your vehicle man park it in winters if you can drive a beater in the winter salt eat up a truck so I say park it..
Here's what I used to do:-Nothing 'heavier' than 10W-30 motor oil; otherwise, no lighter gear oil (If I lived in Fairbanks I would use 5W-30 and 75-90 gear oil and probably all synthetic)-50% antifreeze mix; sometimes 60%-Block heater, oil pan heater, and battery blanket; all on a timer-When real cold-cardboard in front of radiator to keep cold air from flowing into the engine compartment and 'air cooling' the engine-Use of the factory hood insulation (I think every little bit helps)Rusty
