Newbie from Socal
« on: May 31, 2011, 03:45:13 pm »
I just got a 74 short box with a 350.  The truck has sat for awhile and is gonna need alittle coaxing to get her to start up.  My plans for the truck is to turn it into a street cruiser.  I'm thinking of the belltec drop spindles and some lowering shackels for starters.  I will also need to change everything that is made out of rubber on the truck, its been in the desert it whole life.  The only thing i cant decide on is what size wheel to go with, from the looks of it i will have to cut the wheel tubs and move them out to get a wider wheel to fit.  Y'all better get used to seeing me here, cause i need alot of info from yea!

Welcome from Az. You'd be surprised how big of a tire you can shove in the back of these things without tubbing.  I'm gonna toss this out there too, as I know there are a few of us 74's Rule!
