18's and tire size
« on: August 04, 2011, 12:28:15 am »
Thinking about getting some 18 inch wheels for my truck thats lowered with 3" drop spindle and 5" flip kit in the rear. Should I get the 18x8 or the 18x9.5 wheel? I also want to know what size tire would fill my wheel well and give my truck a nice stance. I would like to keep the same tire and rim size all the way around so i can rotate my tires when needed.

May want to stick with the 8's if you plan to rotate them, the 9.5's may rub.

What about tire size? I'm thinking 255/55, any suggestions?

if you want the wider look get the 9.5" wheels and run a 295/45 18 tire.  that's what i'm running on my truck currently.

Dropped 2" in front and 2" in rear but soon to b 4" in rear
