4 way flasher phenomenon

i just installed my engine and trans in my 76 shorty. fired right up. 4 ways still on cant find the switch. please dont laugh too hard at this ignorance for im a poor southerner with little education. sincerely Chris!

It should be right next to your ignition switch on the column. No worries, my buddy pulled mine out last year, thinking that was how to turn it on... I still need to fix that.
