If you're trying to go with the stock look, take a close look at the photograph and note that the outside clearance lamps angle out (i.e., not set straight with the cab).

Your local auto salvage may have a truck with the correct GM lamps and wiring for less money than the replacement-style clearance lamps. You could also make templates off the cab to verify hole location...

Would anyone happen to know the diameter of the base of the stock cab roof lights like in the above dually picture?

The total outside diameter of the rubber base is nearly 3 1/2 inches


The socket is approximately 3/4 inches


The lens diameter is approximately 3 1/4 inches (across mounting location on bottom)
