I spent 2 weeks at Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport CA for our annual training exercise.

Yes it snows in California, and yes it snows in June...

Eastern Sierras, south of Tahoe

Lazy Boy Pass, heading to Hawthorne Army Base


Start of our 4mi, 1500ft elevation change hike


About half way up


That hill hurt


Move and shoot range, we followed this with the M1014 Benelli and M9 Beretta

Its only part time, Im a weekend warrior.

Thanks everyone, I really enjoy it and wish I could do it full time again, but I made a compromise with my better half.

I see you were in my neck of the woods. and thats Lucky boy pass that goes to Hawthorn. But Lazy is close enough.

just stayed on Lucky Boy Pass. Only went to Hawthorne to refuel.
