Help finding tools
« on: September 25, 2011, 09:54:33 pm »
I used to rebuild heads 12 years ago at my career center. I'm about ready to start my first project motor and I want to do the porting, polishing, knurling, refacing, and seating myself. I have some throw away heads to practice on too.

The problem is finding tools. I started digging around the net and got flooded with info. I'm looking for descent grade mechanical hand tools to do the job. No 5 grand refacers like I used to use:-(

Can one of you good folks point me in the right direction to start gathering tools for top to bottom head work. Books, dvd's and any other resource is welcome too. Also a good place for general engine rebuilding specialty tools would be helpful too.

Thanks!!!
