How does the inner and outer rocker panels go together ?

Hello, this is my first post here glad i found&joined this site it looks like a great site ! now for some help , i have a 84' K5 Blazer i am in the process of putting new rockers and floors in it and am stuck on how the inner & outer rockers go together ? i will also be doing the rockers on my 79' K20 GMC very soon to so if anybody can help me with pics etc. on how and what the look like together that would be great ! Thank you

No i hadn't thanks its a help . is it the same way for a K5 Blazer since there isn't a "hump" that the pickup seat is bolted to do i just cut that piece of ?and one more thing (sorry) does the inner rocker get welded at all to the outer or is it more just hooked to the floor and the outer just sits beside it ? Thanks alot for the help !

Inner and outer weld together. Drill holes in the bottom lip of the outer, and grind the inside bottom edge of the inner, Then fill the holes with weld. Called a plug weld.
Floors are different but same basic idea.
Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs

I reach through the drilled or punched hole with an awl and scratch off the ep coating.  I think its a little better for corrosion protection.  I read that somewhere, probably on the internet, so it must be true ;D

I did the same thing except I made as many plug welds on the backside as I could.

hey thanks guys , one more thing does anybody have a pic. or 2 of what the 2 rockers look like together ? so i know 100% that i am putting them together right i am pretty sure i know buy looking at the pics that Captkoas had me go to but want to be sure , just want to do this right the first time. again thanks a lot !
