Lower Control aRm?

The metal piece your bump stop sits on your Lca is it part of the bump stop?

There should be a slit in the middle. Yes your correct thats where the bump stop goes

It is part of the control arm, it does not come with the bump stops no matter where you get them from.  they do come with lower control arms should you replace the whole thing.

Ok thanks so the only purpose of that piece of metal is to hold the bump stop on?
