Library of of two tones?
« on: November 18, 2011, 03:47:20 am »
I was hoping that someone had some way of telling what all two tone paint options were available from 73-87. I think I've decided that I'm going to paint the truck factory looking two tone again, but the red and tan that it came with just isn't my bag of bones. I really like some of the blue and black, (or is it really blue and dark blue?) but I'd like to see some of the other offerings. Perhaps some of the rarer ones.

you should be able to go to whatever parts store near you that sells paint and look it up on their color chart

Unless some one has pics of two tone paints, the only real way to tell is look up the paint codes offered on the years of trucks you are looking at, then go down to the local paint store and look at them on their color charts.

Well I was kind of hoping to see it on the truck already. That would be a bigger help on deciding which ones i like best. I was thinking green and white, but my truck is an 80's truck and I think that was more of a 70's truck thing.

You could go through members rides and look at all the pics, I have done this when I can't sleep at night, can make a whole night go by fast for sure.  ;)

Bake, had to chuckle at that one... sounds like you count square bodies instead of sheep!

Somewhere there is a post to what I recall a YouTube link to a ton of truck pictures set to music, I just couldn't find it.
