Jetzon Mud Claws
« on: December 20, 2011, 11:57:26 am »
Anyone ever had experience with these tires? My father-in-law found some in my size and is offering them to me at a discount (he is a district manager for a tire retailer). I currently have BFG T/As and I am happy with them, but I am in need of new rubber soon.  Never heard of these so I was curious of everyone's opinion:

Never heard of them. Havent seen them in popular distributors, so that might say something. I guess it depends on what youll be using the truck for.

The tread pattern looks like they may make a lot of noise.  Personally if they come from China I would stay away from them unless you don't do any highway driving.  My $.02

Yeah I have had reservations too about these. My father in law said tires in my size are becoming harder to get. He simply saw that these were the only tires in my size that he had on hand in the warehouse and could offer me a steeper discount on them as opposed to ordering some, which he can only give me a modest discount on.

I've not heard of them either.  But since it's your family is involved I would be willing to give them a try especially if a steep discount is applied.  If they are DOT approved and you like the  tread pattern I'd go for it assuming they are also offerred w/ some type of reasonable guarantee.

My $.02

We have a Jetzon Tire Dealer in town and they have always stood behind their brand. I would try them. I believe that Jetzon is owned by one of the larger tire companies and may be a copy of another more popular brand without the price tag.
