Upgrade my stock radio Am/FM with a newer stock digital gm radio
« on: February 28, 2012, 11:03:34 pm »
I want to upgrade my stock am/fm stereo with a 87 digital top of the line GM stereo. I bought one used, and the led display or the radio doesn't work. I can hear a sound when the power is turned on to I can change to am to fm but no static- I bought another used one and it's about the same thing. My old analog works fine. Maybe I have two bad digital type radio's (not tested ones) I do not have the two pin wiring connected from the back of the radio (I think it's for the clock memory). Do I need this connected? The picture is not the one I bought- But what it looks like

Do you or can you take a pic of the back of how you have it wired up and post it so we can see ?

I am pretty sure the extra wires out back are both for the memory and led display...
