I just installed a front sway bar on my 78 stepside. I got mine at a u-pull-it wrecking yard. I found mine on a suburban( think all suburbans had them it was a option on all others). The 4wd drive sway bars wont fit on a 2wd or visa versa. I just bought some new bushings and had to go to a chevy dealership to get the upper mounting brackets. The upper brackets are hard to remove without a torche or grinder. They are rivoted on from the factory.
