Anyone had any luck with Trailblazer seats?
« on: April 06, 2012, 03:20:10 pm »
Picked up a full set and am working on installing them in my 84 stepside.  I've gotten as far as removing the original bracketry and think I have a plan.  Going to be a bit of work, but I think they will make for a comfy ride, and I like the idea of the integrated seat belts.

Sounds good man.

Just remember, with integrated seatbelts you have to reinforce where the seat bolts to the floor REALLY well, otherwise in a crash you and the seat could hit the dash in a bad enough wreck.

Just curious, but have you seen anyone's work that did the extra reinforcement? If so what did they do? Weld some new sheet metal to the bottom to overlap the cab floor for added strength?
