you can tell by looking at it that the pinion angle is off, but i don't feel vibration at any speed. i should still shim it though right, as to not ruin the u joints?

I would probably shim it if it needs it. Typically you want about 3 or 4 degrees on a leaf setup. It should be nose down on the rearend side. You should be able to get an angle finder and place it on the rear yoke of the output shaft of rearend (take a reading) and then put it on the yoke of the output shaft and the should be the same.
