1980 inline 250 to a v8 350 trans?

hey guys new to the forum and i need help. i have a 1980 c10 with a 4.1 250 straight six. ive been looking at crate 350s and gm 350s and i wasnt to sure if i need a different trans if i put a 350 in there. thanks guys. ill have a few pics of the truck up soon.

Welcome to the site from NW Indiana.  Your existing transmission will bolt up fine and should be strong enough assuming it is in proper working order now.
