20 Year Old Tool Shead Find
« on: December 29, 2012, 07:39:35 pm »
I put an add on our local radio station this morning looking for a good used hood and a chrome front bumper to finish up my 78 k30 wrecker rebuild, low and behold i got a call from a gentleman he said he had a hood  up in the rafters of his tool shad , when he 20 years old he bought this 1977 Chevy 4x4 new The hood has been high and dry for 20 years, what a great find. Will post pitches soon, i drove  about 40 miles down the interstate 4.11 gears 3200rpm at 65mph. shook a tail pipe hanger loose, the farmer lent me some wrenches we bolted the hanger back on and swapped the hood then threw the old one on back then took Rt14 all the way home

Give me a long enough lever and a place to stand, and I shall move the earth or break this bolt...Whatever, just hold my beer!
