Finally got big block done last week pics to come soon.  eagle rotating assembly, forged rods, speed pro pistons with -22cc domes hastings moly rings. First  set of heads leaked after machine shop had them. Leaked water around guides took em back they said they fixed em and leaked again didn't even bother takin them back wasn't happy at that point now have  oval ports mild portwork polished combustion chambers new valves arp head bolts and intake bolts.comp 268h cam kit  hydraulic flat tappet  with lifters  springs, retainers locks, double roller timing chain etc. Rpm air gap intake.  Speed demon carb. Ran engine on start stand and can't wait to get it in truck. Taking place of 383. will post pics. Couple questions on install, will fan shroud I have work? Or do I need to find another.  I'm sure I'll have some more as I get it ready to get it in truck.

If going from a SB to a BB fan shroud will not work. However all 454 fan shrouds are the same from 1973 all the way up to 1991 so finding one should be easy. There is one in my shop, but it is not for sale. :)

GM just discontinued that P/N around the 2008 bankruptcy otherwise I'd send you to the dealer.
