Blueprint engines
« on: January 10, 2013, 01:30:35 pm »
Getting ready to buy a new crate motor for my 82 sierra 4x4 and am looking at the blueprint 355 in jegs. Was wondering if anyone has used this particular motor and what their impression of it is. I'm looking at the one with iron heads.

I bought my 383 ( www.delbridge.net/install ) from  them a few years back and love it. No core, free shipping.  Bypass ebay, call him directly with whatever specs you want on it like i did... i specified the intake and cam, 4 bolt main, etc..and he shipped it out two days later.  Ask for Darl.  He's in Arizona and shipped it to VA for free.

Why do you want to have a engine blueprinted and not balanced also ?  What are your plans or driving style you think the truck will run at ?

Sorry it took a while to respond. Been busy. Blueprint is the brand of motor I was looking at in jegs. I'm guessing its balanced and blueprinted and that's not just the company name? I was just curious if anyone had any dealings with them and what they thought about em. Other ones I've been looking at are gm performance.
