side exit headers
« on: April 15, 2013, 05:57:28 pm »
Im curious if anyone has ever used one of those universal side exit exhaust kits? I want to put exhaust similar to a corvette on my truck, its a 78 blazer frame with a 77 pickup body. Everyone around here has straight pipers and stacks I want to do something different. Anyways if any of you guys have done anything similar or seen anything similar let me know thanks. Any input helps

Just have to be careful with the heat they produce. I remember a guy telling me he even had to keep and eye on his until it cooled down so kids wouldn't get around it and get burned.

They sound good though!

Not sure how to link a YouTube video using Tapatalk but maybe pasting the link will work

Do a few google searches and call a few places. There are several companies that still make them. You might not be able to buy a bolt on kit but I set you can find all the parts you need. Beside, it's more fun to fab up a one-off custom set than buy something turn key.
