My New Buckets & ummm... Console?
« on: March 07, 2013, 10:48:44 am »
Picked these up for a SONG out of a '99 Suburban a guy was parting out.  They need to be recovered, but they are power everything, even have warmers.  The console is not great, but it is at least a start.

I've always thought GM could've done a better job with the design/function of that center console.  Are you going to recover the seats with leather?

I haven't decided Jason.  Probably, yes, eventually.  Right now, I'll probably just ride some seat covers because I need an engine rebuild or swap out.

And I do hate the console.  I will probably build a custom one.  I probably won't even bother bolting that one in.  I'll probably just use it as a glorified cupholder.

I really like those kind of seats for our trucks.  I think the 1 arm rest on the inside allows better fitment the the full captain style chairs.
