engine swap
« on: April 04, 2013, 10:40:47 am »
Hey guys,
I'm just about ready to lift the old motor out of my truck. I'm a bit concerned about what I need to do to make sure the torque converter stays where it needs to stay. How can I secure it and avoid several quarts or tranny fluid on the ground? Thanks!

After taking the bolts loose I slide the converter back as far as it will go, then I'll use safety wire on one of the lugs to hold it in place.
