what size spindles do i order

how do i measure my rotors i have 86 c10 came stock with a v6 does that mean it had the 1" light duty rotors?

Not necessarily.  Do you have the RPO list?
If not you can measure them.  The HD version is bigger than 1.5", the 1" version is under 1.25"
