86 Silverado C10 door caulking
« on: August 02, 2013, 05:53:36 pm »
I have a 1986 Silverado C10 and there is caulking around the door and the door opening on the cab body.  The caulking is peeling away from old age and shrinkage.

Does anyone know what type of body caulk should be used to replace the caulking? I did a search and have not been able to find out what to use.

right or wrong I use the best paintable silicone caulk I can find.  I get mine at Menard's.

Thanks, I think I am going to get some DAP Elastomeric paint-able caulk.
