The fitting is threaded into the bumper. The bumper is square tubing that is sealed off on both ends, so the bumper will act as an air tank. I need to repair a hole in the bottom of it, then it will be filled with air. You gotta love farmers.

The retired farm truck needs tires to replace the dry rotted Feed Store Specials that are currently on it. Before I get tires I want to get wider steel rims that look OEM. Since I want steel my options are limited and that led me to these wheels. They're found on Ram 2500's from 2003-2012 and are 17x7.5. Now all I have to do is locate a set for cheap.

I finally pulled the rest of the flooring out of the truck, and I found a wee bit of rust in the passenger side floor.

















Overall the rust isn't as bad as it could be. I have wire wheeled the floor and applied a couple of generous doses of naval jelly.

I removed the last of the emission equipment over the weekend. The AIR tubes were so rusty that all I had to do was bend and break the tubes off, then I was able to use a socket to get the plugs out of the manifolds.





I found this while I was strolling through a local bone yard. a couple of weeks ago. I didn't get a chance to ask how much they wanted for it.

Not trying to threadjack this. but I don't think it's as bad as mine... The previous owner decided he'd fix the column, (for what reason I don't know) but somehow he managed to put it back together so when you would turn the ignition off it starts the truck. and Vice-versa. Me and dad always joked it was an anti theft device! lol

That would be an excellent anti-theft device. It amazes me what people do when trying to repair a problem.
