Replacing Oil Pan Gasket
« on: August 30, 2013, 03:17:15 pm »
Hey guys new to the forum, just got a 1982 K20 with a 350. I have a small leak from my oil pan and was wondering how hard it will be to change. I already have the gasket, just was looking at the bolts on the pan and do I have to take off anything to get all the bolts out? It looks like a piece of the transmission is blocking me from getting at two bolts for the pan. Thanks for any help.

No just dig it out with a small flat blade screwdriver.  Be sure to use a dab of silicone on the corners.
