Best drop for the buck ?
« on: November 18, 2014, 08:02:37 pm »
Looking to do a 5/8 drop and possibly cutting one cool on front . What's the best bang for the buck drops for these trucks ? What do you prefer or recommend and why ? I've had numerous dropped vehicles some rode smooth some rode like shoot .. This is my first c10 and unsure what the going trend is .

We are active. Just give it some time. We have thousands of members and thousands of posts. I can't help here as I have never dealt with lowering kits and such on any vehicle.

What size wheels are you planning on using?
For what you have in mind I recommend 3" spindles and 2" springs in the front and a flip in the rear if you need more use a longer shackle to get closer to 8"
If it rides bad now with the stock springs I would look into getting newer ones but it will sacrifice load over comfort.  How many leafs do you have now?
