New owner & new member
« on: December 06, 2013, 03:08:44 pm »
Hello everybody,

I just got my first truck ever, a 1987 Chevrolet 4x4. I think it is a V10, but I don't know much more about it. I'm currently figuring it out. The emblem on the dash says "custom deluxe." The emblems on the fender are missing. If any of you could also recommend a good shop to work on it in Houston/Cypress area, I would greatly appreciate it. I'm a big guy so I am ordering a custom tilt steering column for it and I will need to get installed (not sure I want to do it myself). I also need to replace the windshield...

Thanks!!

The column is pretty easy to do yourself.  Just make sure it is a 83-87 column to simplify changing stuff.
