is this supposed to mount to the intake? ever since I swapped carbs my linkage has been a little screwy and I couldn't get the pedal into full throttle as it was hanging up on the throttle kickdown cable. so I got this bracket but I can't seem to find where to mount it. looked everywhere maybe I'm just being an idiot but I'm not getting it..

Fastens under the two rear intake manifold bolts, driver's side. Quite often, aftermarket brackets won't provide a perfect mounting or alignment solution for the cables without some tweaking.
