is this supposed to mount to the intake? ever since I swapped carbs my linkage has been a little screwy and I couldn't get the pedal into full throttle as it was hanging up on the throttle kickdown cable. so I got this bracket but I can't seem to find where to mount it. looked everywhere maybe I'm just being an idiot but I'm not getting it.. :(

Fastens under the two rear intake manifold bolts, driver's side.  Quite often, aftermarket brackets won't provide a perfect mounting or alignment solution for the cables without some tweaking.
