Will a 91+ Steering column fit a 86 model truck?
« on: February 11, 2014, 04:41:38 pm »
Hi all

I have a 1979 K30 dually crew cab that has been converted to RHD. Someone has used a dash and a steering column from a different make all together.

I am currently rebuilding this truck from the ground up and have a new 86 model cab.

I am happy to do some modification work but want to know if anyone has done something like this before?

Also does the 91 model column have headlights, washers and indicators?

thanks

Cal

the 91 (88-94) will have indicators, washers and high beam switch. the wiring prob wont be the same but thats easy to fix once you trace all the wires. and as long as there is no airbag it will work.

If it is a 1991 R/V series it is the same as the 1986 C/K series.
