No longer "the Rust Bucket" 77 K10
« on: July 14, 2015, 11:35:09 pm »
I have posted here a few times on what I called "The Rust Bucket". 1977 K10 350/350. I am going to have to come up with a new term of endearment. I replaced the left front fender and door. Then I found a "new to me" bed for $300 that has some surface rust but is straight and nothing like the old bed that was rusted through on both wheel wells and the bed itself. So now I am down to just rusted cab corners and a rusted outer rocker on the driver's side. I have the new cab corners already but they are not installed yet. It is slow progress but progress none the less. I have an 350 engine on the floor in the garage just waiting. I can't wait until I get enough free time to drop it in. So stay tuned!

Heck of a deal on that box!  Hopefully someday my truck can be rust free too.  Keep us posted.
