Vacuum lines
« on: March 25, 2015, 12:10:55 pm »
The 3 vacuum lines that come off the top of the water inlet neck that seem to go to the carb area. Are they needed? What purpose do they serve? I need a place to put in my water temp gauge. this looks like the easiest spot to do it.

Also i have noticed my vaccum advance line isnt hooked up. Woul this cause the truck to run like crap? Where exactly does that line hook into, somewhere on the carb?

Much appreciated

The vacuum advance wouldn't effect idle but it would run like crap above like 1500-2000 rpm like if you were driving around. It would get plugged into a vacuum port on the carb (probably below throttle blades) that only gets vacuum once idle goes up.
