So I went to the exhaust shop to get new duals. I have two flowmasters and I'm wanting the tru dual setup. I also have headers. I asked the guy if he could put a crossover( H ) pipe on. He said I didn't need it cause I have headers and it would already flow good. Won't an H pipe balance it out and make it sound better even with headers? Because I would really like one on my exhaust.

Yes H-pipes will help (it will also make it quieter).
Personally I would make it so you can remove the section if you ever need to pull the tranny.

It will make it sound more tame if you have a larger cam in it.  It will also take away some of the resonance that is so annoying on the interior with flowmasters.
