im trying to hook up a manual choke in my 77 chevy silverado 3/4 ton, theres a bracket for the choke knob/cable on the bottom right hand side of the dash but no hole in the firewall. just need to know where to drill if anyone has a picture of the best area to do so? carb is a holley 80457-1

most times i try to find a hole thats already there. since you have a bracket installed i would assume there should be a hole already

nope no hole, the stereo is currently out of the truck so i have total access to see and no hole to be found....

if you have to drill i would drill close to a hole that has wires that way you can measure something like 2" to the left and know theres nothing near that area
