Just wondering why it seams we have no one that is interested in the Calendar?

I plan on submitting mine when it is done. Now when it is going to be done? Well that is a good question. I am going to be working on it for a long time. Give me two years. Maybe.
It's been a LONG time since I have been called a newbie. Just sayin....

I missed the February TotM where my long bed fleetside 4x4 fits, and the only good pictures I have were the one in last years calendar anyway.

Maybe alot of people are imagining that Chris is looking for pristine, shiny trucks, which if far from correct, but that's not what people on here mostly have...i dunno

I am still patiently waiting for the proper months, only thing I can think of is maybe the reminder post gets buried by other posts too quickly for people to see.  Or as Tim suggested people are afraid their truck might not look good enough.  Can't be any worse than my rusty Miss November from last year. Come on people let's see some trucks!

i think something we will do is accept pictures through out the year. then the end of November/beginning of December we will vote on them. this way i doesnt just lock that month into a couple trucks that were ready for their month. i have unlocked the months that we've done so far, so that you can submit the trucks till the final dead line at the end of the year.

i know its hard but dont worry about the condition of your truck. this isnt a "show" quality truck website. this is a web site on our trucks, so rather its all nice and pretty or if it gets used everyday it still one of our trucks on our website.

We can an have left it open all year and then closed it and etc, but with the amount of member I would expect someone would want their truck in a calendar which is were the truck of the month ends up (in our annual calendar.
The trucks per month are based on all the iterations that were built, because it is nice to have a variety.  In the past we didn't restrict it but we allowed whomever to submit if we didn't have anyone.  This is an owners calender not a show calendar.  One year I think I am going to dedicate it to ONLY drivers (no show), then ONLY in progress, ONLY Beaters etc.  Would that spark any more interest?
How about we send the one selected a vinyl decal?

Any suggestions are accepted.  All the winners have to be selected based on the quality of the picture resolution, not the truck.  Right now I have like 2 that meet that criteria.

What do you the members want to see?

I think an in-progress month would be a good idea.

I think the main problem is getting the message out there.  The posts get buried quick sometimes, only reason I saw your post Capt is because I had already posted on this thread.

Maybe a sticky on the home page will help with more submissions.

I agree that the message may not be getting out. Is there a way you can post so it goes to more parts of the forum? Which type of truck are you looking for at this time?

maybe a banner at the top asking for members to submit their trucks for the calendar. have that linked to the truck of the month board so they could find where their truck fits and turn in their picture there?
