5 lug 6 lug rear end difference

Ok my 1986 c10 is 5 lug and i have a 79 6 lug k15 rear end. will the gears from the 6 lug fit the 5 lug i screwed me c10 rear spyder and pinoin gears

it depend on if theyre the same style axles (10 bolt or 12 bolt)

the 10 bolt uses an 8.5" ring gear and the 12 bolt uses and 8.875 so no, the gears won't inter-change
