Upper heat stove to air cleaner assy tube.
« on: November 08, 2015, 08:27:58 pm »
As i am about to install new exhaust manifolds, and on the right one i have new upper and lower heat stoves. But the tube that connects to bottom of air cleaner assy is a hard to find part.  Anyone know where i can get this tube, ever fabricate one or use something else?

Nah, i cant find it.  Pretty sure auto parts stores sell them in a universal size, but the upper stove it fits INSIDE, and on the bottom of air cleaner assy its an outside fit. Now what???

Squeeze the bottom to fit?! Its just air that travels up it to melt the wax.

I was thinking find some kind of pipe that would fit in the heat stove and then add a sleeve or something from there.  I'd like to try and get a nice even clean fit.   Rich weyand once sent me a site that sells the real deal.  But i cant find it. Hopfully he'll get wind of this.
