Power window and lock wiring harness
« on: August 20, 2015, 07:07:24 pm »
Just picked up an 81 K20 Silverado. I do not think that it has the original doors on it(they are manual). I looked behind the kick panels and there seems to be a large bundle of wires on bothe sides. Could this be the wiring for power windoes and locks(hopefully). Thanks in advance.

behind the kick panels should just be metal.
Is there holes in the cab at the door opening?

Yes there are holes there. That is what got me thinking that someone might have changed doors and the wiring be behind them.

Here is a pic of wiring that was underneath the drivers kick panel.

They stop behind the kick panel. They were cut justehind the kick panel. Have not taken the pass side off yet to  as you see them. They were all taped up see if the same wiring is behind it or not.
Also, checked RPO codes from glove box sticker and truck did not come with PW or PL. Did not know if they would have put the wiring there or not.
