New from north Al.
« on: November 05, 2015, 11:36:00 pm »
Hi,  my name is Gage I'm from limestone county, AL. I'm sort of new to the site, I joined in September. I lurked around for quite a while before I joined.

I'm 18, work at Kentucky fried chicken (for now) and I'm about to start at drake st. Technical college in Huntsville al. for automotive service.

I own a 1982 Chevrolet scottsdale 2wd short bed, it has a 350/th350, a few bolt ons and a shift kit and stall,  and has been lowered incorrectly by the previous owner (but i love the stance) me and my dad built it in the back yard where  we recently moved from, (got hit by a tornado, rebuilt what we lost,  then a couple months later his divorce/seperation and we moved to an apartment) it is seriously a Frankenstein truck, his truck was the donor ('82 silverado) and has parts from 5 trucks ranging from 73-97 we had collected over the years, and a tranny from a vette.

It's not the prettiest, but it's as reliable as I could ask for, and before I graduated I could embarrass the rich kids with brand new souped up trucks in front of there gfs lol. It's going to be a hot rod/drag truck one day.

I do have some knowledge about these trucks, I turned every bolt on mine, but I'm in no way a pro.  So I decided to join here because this site always popped up when searching Google for the answers to my problems/questions. I love square body trucks, blazers, and suburbans any way there done.
