Nice job so far. 305 or 350? Must be TBI with 700R4 also. I really like the oak bed.

It's a 350 TBI, and yup got the 700r4 np208 combo, and thanks I really like how it came out also, especially cause the wood didnt cost me anything haha but thanks for the compliments guys feels awesome after all the hard work. I'll upload some interior pics tomorrow its A LOT cleaner now but not quite finished up yet the Interor was VERY rough as you can see I'm the pics above, and engine work is next in my list after I figure out some issues I'm having with lights lol I just got it running and did basic maintenance on it which I'm sure hadn't been done in years before that if ever. Oil changec, plugs and wires, cap and rotor, runs pretty dang good for sitting for a bunch of years, just takes a bit to crank over sometimes I haven't figured that out yet. I plan to put it on the road this Monday and work out the kinks as I drive it more and more!

Only real engine issues when I first got it were just from sitting for a long time, so I just did all the usual maintence to be safe, that as well as a different throttle body of a 90s truck, re-did all the wiring in the cab and hooked up an ecm out of a scrap truck and finally got it to fire. That along with all new fuel lines, fuel pump and sending unit and it seems to run pretty good now. Only issues I ever have are hard starts sometimes and after it idles for a while and warms up it seems to want to cut out sometimes, more so when I try to put it into gear. I have read about this and what some causes could be I just haven't had time to concentrate on it yet I've just been trying to get it on the road before winter hits here in ny lol I'll see the real problems if any, start arising as I began driving it daily I'm sure.

Put some Seafoam in your gas for a couple tankfuls.

I'll try the sea foam if this stuff I tried today doesn't work out! I've used seafoam in small engines before but never on my vehicles. I'm running through some techtron right now. It's an injector cleaner, my pops says it's good stuff so well see. I put it on the road today and took it for the first ride! Felt awesome and passed inspection with flying colors. I'm going to also start replacing sensors just for piece of mind and see what difference it makes. I seen a good thread on here about troubleshooting sensors and what they do, I'm still learning a lot honestly. But the only issue I had driving today were coming to stop lights or trying to back into a parking spot it would stall out. I've read threw a few threads here and tried this techtron so well so how it goes, I'll come back with results after work tomorrow! Next step after I figure this out is to clean up the engine bay and finish up my interior! Alot of people gave me good advice about a simple minimalist engine bay so that's what I'm gonna shoot for after its running smoothly and then maybe some tbI mods 8)

Not even it's manufacturers really know what it does.
