Engine Year Identification

Stuck, I need to figure out what I have......Googled several times, can't get it locked down. Hoping someone has a go to chart.

This number was found between the 6th and 8th cyl. on head: 14102187
# found between 2nd and 4th cyl. GM13
# found just below the front of right head: K0620FKB
Can't get a good view of the set of #'s on the back of block, just below left head.

I still think it is a 5.0l but when I go to Summits page, my option are only 4.3l and 5.7l .......I doubt there is little to no difference.......just like to be sure

FKB - hmmm.  An FK is either a '57 265, or a '69 327, but I don't see FKB.  An FEB could be either a '55 265 or a '57 283.

the head numbers are just specific to the heads that are on it. the numbers stamped behind the alternator are the ones most use and can tell you what the engine was built as. the casting numbers on the back of the left side are the numbers the block was made for originally. you use those as a base line but the numbers stamped will tell you what its finished intentions are.

Reason for posting all 3, was to figure out what I have......none of the numbers jive with any ID bank I've came across

This is a 94' Extended Cab. This is what they called W/T 2500 package. " Work Truck " It sets on 1/2 ton axle's, and to my understanding it is considered a heavy duty 1/2 ton, for what that's worth. Think they only done this a couple yrs. I don't know.

verified: http://www.enginelabs.com/      DANG!     THAT TOOK UP SOME TIME TODAY. Now I know. This is a ol' plain jane Cheyenne. Even tho it is a 94' original, guess they had to get rid of surplus somehow.
