dummy lights stay

so the seat belt light stays on even after I turn off my 73 c10 and remove key. cluster is from a different truck. when I got my truck there where no gauges at all. and then how do I hook up the brake dummy light. it comes on and stays on after I start the truck. my truck is a 73 c10 soon 2 b a dd

73 didn't have a seatbelt warning system.  You have a 74 or 75 cluster.  Add to that the change from lamps to gauges means you need to re-pin the cluster plug.
There are cluster plug pinout sheets and year specific wiring manuals in the tech section.
