installing buckets from a Blazer into a 77 camper special
« on: August 08, 2005, 09:19:00 PM »
I am at the very least, a shoddy fabricator.  Any ideas on a painless or at the best, easy way to mount these buckets in place of my bench?

They even match the interior perfectly of my truck, I am just not that comfortable making my own brackets, etc.

any ideas?

Well, the best way is to use the factory seat mounts and the seat hump that was welded to the floor.  The Blazer seat mounts won't work and they are mounted to high.

If you don't have the factory mounts, they you are going to have to start modifying/making some.

I would probably start off with a cardboard template or a few steel flat bars and bend them to conform to what you want them to look like.
