Duplicolor DIY Bed liner???
« on: July 24, 2005, 10:30:00 am »
I was planning on putting Herculiner in the bed and on the floor of my 85. I was in Walmart yesterday and saw they had Duplicolor DIY Bedliner. It's $40 a Gallon Compared to $100 a gallon at Tractor Supply for Heruliner.

Anyone used it? How does it hold up??

The Hurculiner is much more durable than the Dupli Color. The Dupli Color is like black paint and fades quickly. The Hurculiner is rough, and fairly rugged, but dosn't last as it has no UV protection form the sun, it too fades out after a year or less. I use SEM brand spray on liner. It has an activator / hardender so it holds up to the sun. It is skid resistant even when wet. I sprayed the floor of my shower with it and it has held up excelent. You need a compresor and a rocker shutz gun to apply it but is far superior to the cheaper stuff. Its approx. 160 to 175 for the kit. Has a gallon of liner, a quart  of activator, mixing bucket etc.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs
