1985 GMC c10
« on: September 21, 2012, 06:59:05 pm »
I picked up a 1985 GMC off a buddy. its got 200000kms 350 with a .480 lift cam, roller rockers on stock fastburn heads. edelbrock performer intake and 650 holley carb. its got a fresh turbo 350c and a 10 bolt 3.73 posi. At this point it is just a weekend cruiser. this winter i might put so wheels on it undecided about prostars or a 18' or 20" rim. I also plan on putting a bigger cam in it, .520 or .530.
when i first got it

then i put a Belltech 4.5/6 drop in it.

and this is how it looks right now

couple fresh pics of this truck, not a lot of work done to it. just a nice reliable summer cruiser. I lowered it some more. it has 2.5 belltech spindles and a loop and a bit cut off the front spring, brand new stock leaf springs as one one bent from the previous owner removing the second leaf and a belltech flip kit. I like the way it sits right now, but i have some issues with the front tires rubbing on fast corners. I'm hoping a 1 ton sway bar up front will stiffen it up enough to solve the problem. if not ill order some narrower tires and put 15x7 ralleys up front
